This is my first finished scroll blank! I learned a lot while working on this one - like do the calligraphy first (at least if I'm going to do it rather than sending it to a calligrapher), and that a dip pen + white ink works way better for me when doing whitework. It's from a late14th century English psalter. I already have the details written up in the documentation I submitted with the scroll at Drums of War 2012.  Here's the original  |
